Patenporträt: Angela K.-K. & Mutio
Warum bin ich Plan Pate?
In my younger years when I was just married, my husband and I were thinking about adopting a child from Africa. I had traveled many places and seen a lot of poor children in South America, Africa, Asia. We even got all the paperwork done, but at that time it was very difficult to find a trustworthy organisation. Then we lived in the US for a few years. There I found Childreach International and we sponsored our first foster child in Zimbabwe. I liked the idea of helping children in their own country and family. Plan is the German counterpart.Über mich
I am now 59 years old, have two (grown-up) sons and I have been married for 33 years. I love traveling and have seen all continents, lived in other countries. My two dogs are an important part of my life, as is my office as a naturopath. I work with herbs, homeopathy, orthomolecular substances. Also I love creative writing and started writing a book. Everyday I enjoy being outside walking my dogs, meeting friends and taking pictures of animals, plants and people.Über Mutio aus Kenia
Mutio is my friend from Kenya. She is now 15 years old and lives with her grandmother, twin sister and aunt. When I started fostering her, she was only 2 years old. Mutio loves going to school and I am happy that she now can write her own letters in English and seems to have been very healthy over the years. Drawing is one of her favourite hobbies and I am proud, I got so many impressions of her life this way.
