Warum bin ich Plan Pate?

To be sponsor parent is for me a possibility to be in contact with people around the world. I am very interested in Africa and am very glad to have Irene as my sponsor child. I like to have her news and to watch her grow, seeing her photos and learning about her life. I hope she will be a happy girl and in future a hapy woman. As I cannot travel to Africa, I can be in connection with Irene and her family.

My Name is Gertraud. I have got two other prenames: Irene and Eva. I am born in 1951, that means, I now am so old to be a grandmother. But I have got no children. When I was 45 Years old, I married my husband, named Hans. He has got a daughter, Insa, who now is almost 30 years old. I am very fond of her. I have got 5 brothers and one sister. We live in very different places in Germany. Three in the North, three in the middle and one in the South. We meet to celebrate feasts. I have got five nephews and 7 nieces.

About Irene I know, that she now (2017) is twelve years old. She likes frequenting school an likes maths and sciences. She lives in Ghana and has to walk to school 30 minutes. I would like to know, what she likes dooing in her free time and weather she has dreams and projects for the future.
